Fall Crew

Alexandria Crew Boosters offers a fall youth rowing program for novices and intermediate rowers. It is open to students grade 8 through 12 from Washington-area high and middle schools. (If you are interested in a competitive sweep and sculling program see the information on ODBC Select Crew.)

Signup is September 15, and practices are Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school from 4:15 - 6:15.  Experienced coaches are in charge at all times.

Fall Crew 2007 offers the following programs:

• Youth Novice Sweep Rowing (minimum requirement: 8th grade, no rowing experience needed - limited to 45 participants)
• Youth Intermediate Sweep Rowing (requires at least one season of competitive rowing - limited to 20 participants).  

The fee for either program is $135.  To register, come to the Dee Campbell Rowing Center between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15.  You can download a registration form and waiver here.  All participants must have a valid high school physical exam and take a swim test.
