Andrea fell in love with crew in 8th grade and has never looked back. Her love for the sport grew throughout the years as well as her collection of medals under the coaching eyes of Dee Campbell and Steve Weir.

Andrea was named Rower of the Year in 2005 and was Washington Post All-Met the same year that her boat, the Varsity 8, was also named Washington Post All-Met.
Once she left T.C. Williams she attended George Mason University where she earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Communication.

It wasn't long before she knew that she wanted to give back to a program that taught her so much. She came back to coach for T.C. Williams in 2009. Coaching has allowed her to teach the importance of trust, friendship, co-operation and hard work to others. But most importantly Andrea is able to pass down her love for the sport.
