Regatta Food

TC Crew Tent
TCW Crew Trailer
TCW Crew Small Tent

When TC Crew goes to an out of town regatta, Crew Boosters provides food for the team.  This can be sandwiches on the bus at the Occoquan, but when there's time and space - at St. Andrews and Stotesbury in particular - we pitch the blue and white TCW tent, set up the grill and prepare a substantial meal.

Since the Boosters are feeding the rowers at each race, parents don’t need to worry about packing food for each rower before those early morning drop-offs at TC!  Parents are asked to pay a one-time fee for each rower that takes care of food at all the regattas.

Food Coordinator for the 2012 season is Lisa Emblom.  We need volunteers to help Plan -> Purchase -> Prepare -> Pack -> Present.  All the opportunities to volunteer are listed below. Send an email and let Lisa know you’re interested!
The FOOD PREP PARTIES are a great way to help our rowers, meet other rower-parents and learn about this sport!

All the RACING days are different and we need parents from Novice to Varsity to be a part of the day!  You’ll be at the race anyway, so think about helping feed the rowers!

The rowers L-O-V-E Banana Bread and it’s become a tradition to serve at every race.  We have races on 3/31, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/18, 5/25.  We need many loaves at each event (depending on number of rowers).  Make a lot and freeze for the season!
